I have been playing with some new filters I found out and such. One filter I do for the bg's alot is fill it with a color then render and use the halftone filter in sketches, just adjust the dots and such til I am happy with it :D. I also make a layer above the bg and use the polygonal lasso click around an area inside behind the char or outside of it, and then right click to select feather effect and make it about 220 when my images are still large from coloring. Then just fill it and it gives that glowy soft effect :D. Hope that helps I'm so bad at explaining things hehe. :glomp:

You can put it up to 225 but it doesn't allow any bigger then that, but it also depends how big your picture is, if it's smaller the dots will appear bigger when you use the effect. Wish you could make them even bigger then 225 though :(
